For complex systems, such as those used in casinos, Dallmeier offers an innovative and future-proof video surveillance solution with optimum user friendliness: the SeMSy^® Video Management System of the virtual matrix. SeMSy^® enables the easy handling and management of different video and audio streams, and live playback and recording anywhere within the networked system.

Operation
The entire system is operated via a professional and highly efficient management system. Operating procedures and complex controls can be stored in the system, so that the personnel can conveniently and intuitively operate the system. The graphic user interface provides every user a quick overview of the cameras and the corresponding monitors via a graphic display.

Evaluation
The graphic user interface at the control centre allows for the evaluation of recordings. Furthermore, playback can be controlled via an external jog-shuttle (e.g. VMC-1). In addition, recorded data can be exported to CD or DVD at the evaluation station.

Scalable
The SeMSy^® system can be expanded and thus remains flexible at any time. For instance, additional cameras/encoders or more monitors/decoders can be integrated into the network at a later date.

Integration of third party systems
The SeMSy^® Management System is based on standardised interfaces (e.g. OPC), so that the integration of further systems (dealing shoe, access control, building management, etc.) is easily possible.

Highest reliability through elaborate redundancy
Every SeMSy^® Main Server manages up to 1500 cameras/encoders. All SeMSy^® Workstations and Variodecoders communicate directly with the main servers. The system configuration and the corresponding database are installed in the SeMSy® Setup Server.

Every Main Server is linked to a Standby Server, which takes over the management, if the Main Server should fail. In the unlikely case that both the Main Server and the Standby Server should fail, the SeMSy^® Workstation uses the locally mirrored database, to ensure continuous operation (camera switching, PTZ control, etc.)
