The DIS-2/M NSU is a 1 channel audio and video streamer in modular construction with recording capability. It is able to receive audio and video streams in various encodings via an Ethernet network (unicast or multicast), record them, play back and output them as a stream.

The DIS-2/M NSU is conceived for mounting and operation in a 19" module rack. In the case of a service the DIS-2/M NSU modules can be quickly and easily exchanged (hot-plug functionality).
