As recording- and transmission channels are dependent on each other, only one source of signal at most is affected in case of an error. The cause of error can then be easily localised and fixed.
Channel by channel replacement is possible. Owing to the hot-plug-functionality of the modules the exchange can be carried out during operation, thus reducing downtime to a minimum.
Moreover, hardware and software harmonise optimally. Therefore there are no updates or software changes necessary during regular operation. If necessary, software adjustments can be made automatically from a central point via the DIS design tool.
